Michael Goff

Executive Vice President/Chief Development Officer/ General Counsel

Mr. Goff is an Executive Vice President, Chief Development Officer (CDO) and currently serves as Secretary and General Counsel for Geocent. He is also a member of the Geocent Board of Directors and serves as Company Secretary. He has over 18 years of experience in executive management, government relations, and law. As General Counsel, Mr. Goff assists GEOCENT Chief Executive Officer, Lori Savoie, in executing the Company’s Merger and Acquisition (M&A) Strategy. As CDO, Mr. Goff leads business development and government affairs functions within the Company.

Mr. Goff was instrumental the acquisition of Diamond Data Systems and Prescient Technologies and their merger to form Geocent. Prior to the Geocent, Mr. Goff was a Senior Vice President at Prescient, where he assisted in growing company business in the Information Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and Aerospace Engineering industries through new business development, and establishment of strategic partnerships. At Prescient, Mr. Goff rejoined Prescient CEO, Bobby Savoie, who he served under as Vice President of Government Affairs at Science & Engineering Associates (SEA).

At SEA Mr. Goff led an effective government relations program that helped to attract and retain hundreds of information technology jobs to Louisiana. Mr. Goff worked closely with SEA corporate and local business leaders to successfully advocate for additional work scope and funding for important area federal projects. Mr. Goff actively participated in new business development activities at SEA directly resulting in over $45 million in new company business. He also represented the company in key trade, political and economic development associations and charity and community events and provided legal counsel on a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and human resource issues. Mr. Goff also assisted in the merger of SEA and ITS Service to form Apogen Technologies.

As an executive manager for Apogen Technologies, he lead the establishment of Apogen Services LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on a new State and Local government and commercial client base. As Apogen Services’ President, Mr. Goff was responsible for all aspects of start-up and ongoing business operations. During his 3 years as President, the company emerged from a start-up to a profitable and growing business with customers that included numerous state agencies, universities and large commercial businesses.

Mr. Goff has served as a member of the GNO Inc, Public Policy Committee, and the Public Policy Committee Insurance Task Force. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the Louisiana Technology Council, and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Mr. Goff holds a B.S. in Business from Nicholls State University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law.
