David Michael "Mike" Murray
Mr. Murray is currently of Counsel to Murray, Montgomery and O'Donnell. Prior to serving in this position he was President of Murray, Scheer and Montgomery, a leading Washington, DC consulting firm specializing in tax and appropriations legislation.
Mr. Murray has had a long and distinguished career for over 38 years; actively participating in the past 18 major Tax Legislative measures before the US Congress. Among the clients he has represented are Porsche NA, Pepsico, Schubert Theatres, Hoffman LaRoche, Norfolk Southern and Milwaukee RRs, Metropolitan Life, Pacific Mutual, Equitable Insurance Co., Pan American and Eastern Airlines, SCAG (a consortium of 35 cities in the Los Angles basin) the American Water Association, the kingdom of Swaziland, and Republic of Tartasan.
Prior to going into private practice, Mr. Murray began his career in the Kennedy-Johnson White House in the office of Legislative Affairs. He also represented three Presidents and Vice Presidents in numerous international travel missions.
Mr. Murray currently serves on the Boards of the Eric Fund (a foundation to provide services and support for disabled children), the Mid-West Inland Corp., the Olstein All-Cap Mutual Fund, the Strategic Opportunities Fund, and he formerly served on the board of the Academy of Preventive Medicine.
Mr. Murray holds a BS from Michigan State University and has done graduate work at American University. He served in the US Marine Corps. He is married to Sandi Stuart. They have four children. His hobbies are boating, flying, golfing and reading.
