Vice President of Human Capital
Ms. Josie Delaune currently serves as the Vice President of Human Capital for Geocent and is responsible for the HR strategy and compliance of all Geocent employees. She leads the company in employee relations, training and development, succession planning, recruiting and retention, benefits, and payroll with a focus on maximizing the quality of the employment experience for every Geocent employee. Before joining Geocent, Ms. Delaune was a member of the HR team at Lockheed Martin and a graduate of Lockheed's HR Leadership Development Program.
Ms. Delaune holds a Master's Degree in Human Resource Education from Louisiana State University and Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University. She maintains the designations of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She is certified as a LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt and EEAC Equal Opportunity Professional.
Ms. Delaune is a member of the national and local chapters of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as Young Leadership Council (YLC). She is also the co-founder of COP NOLA a workforce development project under the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation.
