Description

Seaport-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) use this vehicle to contract for their service requirements.

Geocent is qualified to support in all 7 geographic zones defined by the contract.

Quality Assurance Program
We Continually Meets or Exceeds Quality Standards

Introduction
Through the Quality Assurance Program, we employ the principles of quality assurance in all work we perform. Our Quality Assurance Program is designed to be proactive and is based upon the guidance of both ISO 9001 and CMMI standards, but allowing for individual tailoring to specific projects in order to meet all requirements of the contract.

We continually assesses and adjust the completeness and implementation of our QA Program to help meet the corporate goal of excellence in everything we pursue.

Quality Management Staff
A key aspect of our Quality Management Program is our Quality Management staff, which includes the Project Manager, Task Leads, and our technical staff. Each individual has a role in identifying, reporting, analyzing, planning, tracking and controlling project efforts. Ensuring quality services and products are tasks assigned to every member of the project staff. Identification of defects needs to be completed at the lowest levels possible in order to optimize productivity, hence the use of Peer Reviews. These reviews are the best mechanisms for early defect detection and removal, keeping everyone involved, and encouraging “teamwork.”
