Eddie DeVore Promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development and Growth


Mr. Eddie DeVore was recently promoted to Geocent’s Senior Vice President of Business Development and Growth. Prior to this promotion, he served as Geocent’s Vice President of Strategic Development for the past three years in our Huntsville, AL office. In his new role, he will provide leadership for an organization responsible for all aspects of corporate growth across a spectrum of information technology and engineering disciplines.  Mr. DeVore is known for his ability to evaluate business needs, build strong teams, and define and implement stable processes and solutions that address strategic business requirements.  He has over 30 years of professional, technical, and management experience in the information systems, software engineering, and systems integration fields.

Mr. DeVore will focus on Geocent opportunities to grow existing accounts, taking current Geocent capabilities to new customers and marketsbuilding and nurturing strategic partnerships with our teammates, developing a broader set of prime and subcontractor contracting vehicles, and by adapting the capabilities we have today into enhanced capabilities to enter new market segments.  His new role includes working with senior management and corporate leadership on overall strategy and vision consistent with the company’s objectives.  

Mr. DeVore and his wife, Melissa, live in Athens, AL. In their spare time, they enjoy sports and recreational activities at their country home on Wheeler Lake with their family and friends, including their five children and eight grandchildren.
