Geocent’s Kristen Reeves, Senior Systems Architect in our Baton Rouge office, made the 2018 Silicon Bayou 100 list as one of Louisiana’s most influential people in tech and entrepreneurship. Kristen has been an invaluable member of the Geocent team for the past 7 years and donates a great deal of her time outside of work in advancing local STEM programs. She is a part of Louisiana Women in Technology where she hosts a number of workshops to introduce middle school students to STEM and volunteers with The Futures Fund to assist teaching computer coding to middle and high school students. Kristen also volunteers to help judge science fairs and robotics competitions at local schools.
The Silicon Bayou 100 Release Party was held January 17th at The Drifter Hotel in New Orleans. Honorees were treated to dinner, a keynote speech by Accruent’s Johnny Culpepper, and a performance by musicians Partners N Crime.
Congratulations on the well-deserved recognition, Kristen!
